Lost: The Complete Series on Blu-Ray
Lost is right up there with Carnivale, The Wire, and Curb Your Enthusiasm as one of the very best TV series of the 21st century! As a dude who has already seen every episode of every season of Lost, I’m am still probably going to ordering the complete Lost series on DVD because this is the kind of show that will be fun to see a second time (plus there is a lot of cool bonus features included in the complete collection.)
If you’re new to this mysterious show then I’m jealous of you to be able to experience it for the very 1st time still. It’s really that good of a show. It’s the kind of show that you are probably going to remember for the rest of your life.
To really get the most out of watching the show you really must order the complete Lost DVD or Blu-Ray box set and then avoid all spoilers as much as you can. A great part of this series is having the “mysteries of the island” revealed slowly in incredibly unexpected ways. Do not screw that up by looking up things about the show!
You must also watch it from beginning to end in order. This is a real “serial” show where every single episode leads to the next one. It’s all “one big story” rather than a show where each individual episode has it’s own start and finish.
I really should warn anyone reading this that this show is extremely addictive and that you very well may find yourself watching six episodes in just one sitting (yes I actually did that on more than one occasion!) It is one of those things where every episode ends on an unbearable cliffhanger that really has you wanting to know what happens next.
I must also really mention that this is a show for thinking people. What is happening will not always be obvious. If you’re looking fors dumb mindless entertainment, you should definitely look elsewhere. You will have to make use of your brain as you watch this amazing TV series.
