Marketing Plan For Toy Story

With the release of Toy Story 3 getting closer and closer it seems a lot of time and effort has been spent outside of the movie and actually on the range of toys that are going to be released during the course of the year.

 

Great Marketing

The great thing about Toy Story is that it does not matter what age you are, you are going to like the film, this is one of the most fantastic things ever and something they have as an advantage. In my opinion Pixar have really gone to town with this film in that they have stuffed as many toys into it as possible, there are the normal characters, the trains so people will buy things like train sets and of course let’s not forget the entire new casting to the movie. The thing to mention is that Disney and Pixar are very clever indeed.

 

More Than Toys

Although the toys are the main focus of the release of this movie it would seem there are also many other things coming too. How about trying video games, posters along with books, this is a huge movie when it comes to merchandise there is no doubt about this. It is going to do fantastically well too already proving this in the American movie charts, and I know it is going to be the same in Europe when it hits the screens later this month. The only thing that do not seem to be selling to do with the franchise are RC helicopters however the RC Cars are covered thanks to the loveable character RC.

 

In the end I do not think there is anything wrong with this approach to business at all, it is working very well for them and everyone loves Toy Story right? In fact I do not think I have met someone that isn’t a fan of at least one of the movies.
