I’ve been serving for the government as an army for almost two years. I’ve been relocated to different countries especially to the desert areas all throughout those years. The first few months were really tough for me because I’m not used to go to strange places. I’ve been fed up reading books, magazines and all that stuff. There was nothing to do except chatting with my colleagues. I began to miss the things I do at home. I started to miss watching my favorite television shows and playing video games.
Playing virtual games for me is definitely something I shouldn’t miss every week. But this favorite home activity of mine is no longer a part of my routine since I entered the military.
When I went home for a few weeks leave, one of my buddies showed me something that had changed my lifestyle as an army man. My friend introduced widescreen video glasses to me. At first, I thought it’s just an ordinary sunglass in a unique design. However, there were earphones attached on both sides. I was really curious so I tried to wear the glasses. But I got excited because I saw a wide screen on it. What I was wearing were actually widescreen video glasses.
My friend intended to bring the video glasses so he could convince me to get one for myself. He knew that I like movies and video games so he thought I would be interested to wear and use the unique video glasses.
He was definitely right. Before I went back to camp in Afghanistan, I bought widescreen video glasses (AV310) model. The AV310 has a remarkable 52-inch widescreen. These 4- ounce video glasses are compatible with iPods and other media devices. Since iPods have smaller screen, I connect and plug it to my video glasses instead. These video glasses are incredible which is what I really need.
When I had these glasses, I was able to watch some television shows while in the desert. When I wasn’t doing anything I can play video games through the use of these glasses. Even if I’m in a remote area, I would bring these widescreen video glasses to accompany me. I could even watch in a full size clear image of the screen whatever my position is whether I’m sitting or lying down. If I can’t watch my favorite movie, I will play some video games that I love.
Some of the men in camp borrow my video glasses. If I’m on duty, I would let them use it. But I told them to get one for themselves. In just short weeks, many of my colleagues had started to use video glasses. Just like me, a lot of them prefer to use widescreen video glasses than anything else during our spare time.
I don’t have any reason to complain anymore wherever what place I go to because I already have my widescreen video glasses that can give me fun entertainment anytime. And I definitely would not go anywhere without my video glasses.
